When Experience Matters
Dr. Bolourian is double board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and cosmetic surgery. After finishing his undergraduate studies in the Bay Area of San Francisco, Dr. Bolourian graduated in the top five percent of his NYU class. He earned his medical degree (M.D.) from the State University of New York Health Science Center, where he went on to spend seven years training in General Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery before moving on to Ohio for a Cosmetic Surgery fellowship.
Dr. Bolourian has focused and devoted his professional career solely on Facial Plastics and Aesthetic Surgery procedures. He lectures and has published articles on innovative techniques in facial reconstructive surgery. Dr. Bolourian has been recognized by his peers for his devotion to surgery, patient safety and excellence in surgical outcome. He is certified and an active fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Collage of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Bolourian is a skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon and cosmetic surgeon who volunteers his time and resources to help treat children and adults in developing nations who have suffered from trauma or were born with congenital disabilities. Dr. Bolourian's background is in highly specialized surgeries, such as those for craniofacial deformities, trauma, head and neck cancer, cleft lip and palate, and aesthetic/reconstructive surgeries of the head and neck.
Before going into private practice, he was an attending physician at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center, one of the top 50 hospitals in the country. Dr. Bolourian actively participates in hospital emergency room calls as an attending physician at MemorialCare Health System and Saddleback Hospital. In addition, he is the go-to surgeon for severe facial injuries and potentially fatal head and neck infections.

His hobbies include mountain biking, spending quality time with his family, and road trips with his wife and three boys.
